Academia's Muse...

What a gorgeous photo of Jas.  I added a right braid to the right section of her upper crown.  We wrapped it in a necklace to add delicate charms, as you can see in the FIRST photo.

For my beyoutiful college bloggers out there...FINALS WEEK(or will be very soon) for the college students!  How appropriate is this study module?  Sometimes when beginning to study, and you lack motivation you may feel desolate. Remind yourself:
1) WHAT is your goal
2) HOW will you get to that goal
3) YOU MADE IT to college so the college knows you have the potential to do well
4) ROCK IT GIRL! Show the college they were right
5) HAVE NO SHAME...SEEK HELP if you need it (instructor assistants, friends, professors)
6) STUDY and smile

I personally like to reward myself after a grueling study marathon. That serves as my motivation and reward. And I know as bloggers, we all like to shop...

"Cheyenne meets Chanel"

Have you seen the blog CHEYENNE meets CHANEL?  It is incredible!  I just discovered this blog yesterday browsing Free People (while I was unsuccessfully studying.)
She started as a small blog, like many of us have or are, and now receives over 25,000 views per day!
Of course she is pursuing her career in the fashion world, has been featured in numerous magazines, and has even partnered with forever21!  She is on top of all the latest trends and runs her blog with the help of her BFF who takes all the pics,  Not to mention the majority of her shoots look like professional editorials and she always has new, gorgeous locations.  In addition, her obvious beauty and delicacy adds even more to each photo, and keeps bloggers coming back to see what creative and fun new outfits her gorgeous self has to model!
*Some of her shoots show more skin than is the culture of  The Beyoutiful Hope blog, but I still love the way she styles.*

Love her styling, love her blog!

Do you know her blog?

The Beyoutiful Hope Generation: SALLY

The Beyoutiful Hope Generation are strong young women who inspire and represent what Beyoutiful Hope is all about: young women taking each and every day and trying to make a difference through Christ, and have a taste for fashion so they are looking cute doing just that!

Congratulations to OUR FIRST EVER Beyoutiful Hope Generation Recipient!!!!!!!!

Sally
Age. 21
College Major. Biological Sciences
Hobbies. Sing, piano, flute, piccolo, fellowship
Worship.  "I love music too. It is pretty much my life. I feel like I sense God the most through music. He speaks to me through the lyrics and through the melody itself. I love that it is a universal language. No matter how old you are, everyone can interpret music the way they want to"

Check out Sally's Favorite Song!

Sally's deepest form of worship is through song.  Music is everywhere, and an integral part of her life.

Behind the Scenes.  She wanted to add a pop of color with this adorable print scarf.  So many different ways a scarf can be worn.  We went with the classical approach for this shoot.

Today I had a photoshoot with Sally.  Sally is just the type of person beyoutifulhope represents.  A girl who takes everyday for what it is and tried to live it like Christ has taught.  What first attracted me to Sally was her smile and kindness.  She is genuinely intrigued with life, and carries an energy with her which is not common on campus.  She is a worship leader with our Campus Ambassadors chapter, and I would describe her style as girly trendy.  She typically wears bold colors but we chose this black chiffon high-low top because we thought it would catch wind better. :)

Another shoot with the gorgeous Jas.  As summer approaches you have those days which are half "windy-city" and half "perfection of the sun's glow on my skin".  Loved it.  The shapes made using the side of my school's performing arts building worked great with Jas' flutter top and teal cigarette jeans.

As summer approaches, what is your favorite transition outfit?

In the Stairwell

Happy Easter!
Oh, the whole idea that a man Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, was born into the earth, came with a message for all of humanity, showed us what God wants of us and how much God loves us leaves me lost for words.  A love story like this is hard to wrap my mind around.
But when I think of it, and reflect, it gives me bubbles of warmth. It's like exhaling...and there is a relief knowing that the eternal life we have with God, through Christ is majestic.

Breathtaking, no?
